14D13N ADVENTURE IN NATURE

days 13 night exploring Borneo Island offers opportunity to experience far beyond your imagination: nature of rain forest and the ultimate-biodiversity of tropical plants (flora and fauna) in the heart of Borneo Island in the Muller-Range, in Betung Karihun National Park. The biggest rain forest on the globe after. The third biggest rainforest after Amazon and Congo, in Africa. The 14 day tour starts from the capital city Pontianak of West Kalimantan, occupies bus ride, river boating, and jungle trekking. The trip presents cultural and natural diversities, from modern society up to the uncivilized people of jungle, where the only a place in the globe, Borneo Islanddd

Day 1 Pontianak (D) Preferably Participants arrive in the morning to the joining hotel, free tour in the afternoon to Oldest Buddhist Temple, Grand Mosque Jami’, Qadariah Palace, Equator Monument, and sunset in the Kapuas River.

Day 2 Pontianak – Sintang (BLD) Departs for Sintang at 7.00 am by executive bus goes through villages. The trips present green scenery and local life-style.

Day 3 Sintang - Mountain Kelam (BLD) Bus riding starts after breakfast at about 8:00 am heading Mountain Kelam, the giant rock of Borneo from where beautiful view of the Kapuas River and Melawi valleys can be enjoyed. The journey is continued to experience greenness of Baning Park, and river live of Sintang society.

Day 4 Sintang - Putusibau overland (BLD) It is a full day trip from Sintang to Putusibau by bus. The scenery of the interior of Borneo is now appearing the vehicle sometimes goes through plantation area and sometimes can be off road.

Day 5 Putusibau – Kedamin Longhouse (BLD) At about 9.00am, after completing the requirements; such as entry permit for the tourists, the boat leaves Putusibau for Kedamin Longhouse for cultural tour on motorbike riding. This tour presents cultural (daily life) of Kedamin Socitry, where the Kedamin People live in traditional way of life for hundreds of years. In the evening in good time enjoy coffee with local community in the long house.

Day 6 Kedamin Longhouse - Nanga Bungan (BLD) after breakfast boat riding starts from Kedamin Village to Nanga Bungan village to Sa Hula people. The journey goes through challenging rapid where sometimes take off the boat and push it up the stream it takes 7 to 8 hours. Amazing, sometimes women with stretched earlobes fully tattooed complete the journey in this village.

Day 7 Nanga Bungan – Tanjung Lokang (BLD) at about 8:30 am the bout riding starts throughout up Bungan river to Tanjung Lokan, home to the most uncivilized place of West Borneo. It is more challenging for the boat riding goes through rapids and shallow. Push up the boat ant too off the loaded is the duty of today’s journey. Normally the journey ends at about 16:00pm

Day 8 Tanjung Lokang (relaxing & exploring Punan Culture) (BLD)Tanjung Lokang is the last village the furthest place inhabited by human being in West Kalimantan. The Journey Start at 8:30 am heading to the middle of Borneo Island.

Day 9 Tanjung Lokang - Diang Kaung-Gua Bohok, Jungle Trekking (BLD) Jungle trekking starts at about 8:00 after breakfast heading to Gua Bobok, a place to travesty person. Jungle walk through the dense of the primary rain forest up and down the hills ends in Diang Kaung, a caves where in 1970s was home to human. Here we set up lunch before the jungle walk is continued to Bobok Cave for the jungle camp.’

Day 10 Gua Bohok - Diang Ohang Photo Hunting (BLD) The unforgettable exotic of the culture used to be practiced by the Punan People stayed in the caves where there prove of their uncivilized and nomadic culture. Caves were home of the people before they invented their longhouse.

Day 11 Gua Bobok – Diang Kaong (BLD) exotics practice of nomad people of Punan society live in a cave is one of this adventure. It the right time to practice as if “we” the Punan People, stayed in the cave, home to uncivilized and nomadic people.

Day 12 Diang Kaong - Tanjung Lokang (BLD) The unforgettable exotic of the culture used to be practiced by the Punan People stayed in the caves where there prove of their uncivilized and nomadic culture. Caves were home of the people before they invented their longhouse.

Day 13 Tanjung Lokang - Putusibau – Pontianak (BLD) The unforgettable exotic of the culture used to be practiced by the Punan People stayed in the caves where there prove of their uncivilized and nomadic culture. Caves were home of the people before they invented their longhouse.

Day 14 Putusibau – Pontianak (BLD) The bus leaves at about 14:00pm and arrive in the morning at about 6.00am in Pontianak. Day 15 Pontianak The tour is finish now, it your time decide, leave Pontianak to Kuching bus available at 9.00pm; flight to Jakarta 11 times of flight From Pontianak or Jogyakarta at 14:10 pm. Ø Meals: 12 breakfasts, 9 lunches 8 dinners included. Allow US$ 150 for extra meals.
